  15 Wooden Flags Winterhilfswerk (WHW) made of Wood – Very rare!

  This is a very rare badges/abzeichen. The well known plastic flag badges series was one of the most popular series of badges pre 1945. These badges were at the time already collected, but at a certain point – due to the war – the base materials became scarce. As a solution the same series of flag badges was made of wood, but only in limited numbers and much less were made as a result than the previous plastic badges. These wood badges are nowadays very hard to come by. The Reichskriegsflagge badge is also the rarest to find of the series made in wood. With needle on the back. In good condition and in wood very very rare to find!!! Additionally, two plastic flags.
