A National Forestry Service Official's Dress Brocade Belt with Buckle.

Buckle in silvered aluminum on the right end of the belt, unmarked, illustrating a left-facing spread-winged eagle, its talons gripping a wreathed swastika, on a pebbled background, surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves and acorns with a ribbon at the base. Army patterned brocade dress belt in fine aluminum wire and two rows of forest green embroidery on the upper, interlaced with white threading, forest green felt sides and underside, the belt fed through the loop on the buckle, wrapping around and stitched in place on the reverse, thick smooth finished black-coloured leather tab stitched in place on the underside on the left end, the tab with a pebbled upper along with seven rows of two holes each for length adjustment, matching receiving clip on the left end, two sliders on the belt with matching uppers. Near extremely fine. This particular belt with buckle is illustrated in black and white on page 519 and in colour on page 646 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia.
