Mine Sweeper Badge document awarded to Maschinenhauptgefreiten Heinrich Bischhaus, 30 September 1941. Signed by Heinrich Bramesfeld Kapitan zur see und fuhrer der 1. Sicherungsdivision, who January 21, 1943 received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross as a sea captain. On February 5, 1943, he was appointed Chief of Staff at the Bulky Weapons Inspection and on March 27, 1943, took over the post of Leader of the 7th Security Division. From May 18, 1943 to March 26, 1944, he was Chief of Staff at the German Naval Command in Italy and on May 15, 1944, he took over command of the Blocking Trial Command. Bramesfeld came into British captivity on May 23, 1945, from which he was released on March 11, 1946. He died on January 14, 1992 in Munich.
