An Iron Cross 1939 First Class (Eisernes Kreuz 1939 1. Klasse). A cloth version of the Iron Cross, I Class, the obverse is constructed of fine hand embroidered twisted silver aluminum bullion threading forming the signature silver metal cross pattée with a black woven core replacing the blackened iron core, with a raised central mobile swastika and the re-institution date 1939 on the lower arm, on a black wool background with, measuring 50 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), extremely fine condition.
