HJ / POLITICAL M31 CANTEEN.

Aluminum canteen of the same design as the standard M31 pattern but for the harness configuration. Complete with screw-on cap and leather harness with single pronged buckle and attachment clip. Maker marked "ESB 42". The Hitler Youth utilized the same basic pattern and style of canteen as all the other military and political organizations of the Third Reich. The only major difference being that they typically used the canteen style with-out a cup and of a slightly smaller capacity.
