In loving memory of Dr. Matthias Klubert, M.D., Veterinary Surgeon, Croatian Infantry Division.
On February 9, 1910, the fallen soldier was born in Raeren, the son of Johann Klubert and Elisabeth Peters. An exceptionally happy marriage, the sunshine of which would be two children, united him with Katharina Kirschvink on July 25, 1936. His life was filled with care and kindness for his loved ones, as well as fulfilling the duties of his profession. On the evening of October 20, 1943, he died a soldier's death in Bosnia. His comrades-in-arms laid his mortal remains to rest in the honorary cemetery in Sarajevo. May God in his mercy grant eternal life to the soul of the deceased, who lived in faith in his Redeemer, Jesus Christ.
